Researchers and Research Groups from Bahiana compete for awards

The Humberto Castro Lima awards for Best Researcher of the Year and Best Research Group in Bahiana will be announced during the XIII Researchers Forum, an event that is part of the program of the XXIII Scientific and Cultural Exhibition, which will take place on October 20th, at Campus Cabula.

The Humberto Castro Lima Award for Best Researcher of the Year will be awarded to anyone who has contributed significantly to the formation of a scientific culture, promoting and publicizing their activities linked to Science, Technology and Innovation. The award consists of a voucher for translation or publication of an article in a scientific journal, worth R$ 2.500,00, which will be allocated to the researcher with the most scientific productions, including publications, intellectual property records and guidelines , throughout 2022. In turn, the Best Research Group of the Year Award will consist of the delivery of certificates (one for each winning group in the respective category). The group that has the highest score according to criteria, such as the number of doctors, technicians, foreign collaborators, undergraduate, master's and doctoral students, intellectual property registration and projects submitted and approved by funding agencies, will be qualified as the winner.
