The Physical Education course took to the XVI Scientific and Cultural Exhibition of Bahiana sport and leisure activities aimed at both children and adults. The program took place on the second day of the MCC, held on October 6th and 7th, at the Cabula Academic Unit.

During the program, a group of teachers and students worked with leisure and recreation dynamics with children from the Roberto Santos State School, and another group coordinated the activities of extreme sports and adventure involving rappelling, zip line and slackline.

According to professor of Physical Education course Paulo Rodrigo Aristides, the main objective of the program was to develop a culture of body movement. "It is essential that people adopt a physically active lifestyle, but mainly associated with a perspective of leisure, recreation and fun."

For student Vitoria Lanza, from the 4th semester of the Psychology course, the scientific exhibition is interesting, as it addresses several themes, in addition to being an opportunity to be in contact with other courses at the institution. "Associating important content for our training with leisure and adventure is an excellent proposal. I'm loving the activities, it will even be my first time on the zipline".

The 2nd year high school student at the Roberto Santos State School, Isabel de Jesus, was enchanted with the Bahiana, and says he wants to enroll in the Nursing course. "I loved the activities and the sports tent is a differential in the show".

The visiting public at the XVI MCC was also able to watch an adapted karate presentation, involving teenagers with disabilities who will later compete in a Brazilian championship and, at the exhibition, it served as a simulation of this activity, to acclimate the participants and prepare them. them for the competition. The modality has weekly classes at the Advanced Physiotherapy Clinic of Bahiana and is coordinated by Prof. Erick Keys.
