The Physical Education course took to the XVI Scientific and Cultural Exhibition of Bahiana sport and leisure activities aimed at both children and adults. The program took place on the second day of the MCC, held on October 6th and 7th, at the Cabula Academic Unit.
During the program, a group of teachers and students worked with leisure and recreation dynamics with children from the Roberto Santos State School, and another group coordinated the activities of extreme sports and adventure involving rappelling, zip line and slackline.
According to professor of Physical Education course Paulo Rodrigo Aristides, the main objective of the program was to develop a culture of body movement. "It is essential that people adopt a physically active lifestyle, but mainly associated with a perspective of leisure, recreation and fun."
For student Vitoria Lanza, from the 4th semester of the Psychology course, the scientific exhibition is interesting, as it addresses several themes, in addition to being an opportunity to be in contact with other courses at the institution. "Associating important content for our training with leisure and adventure is an excellent proposal. I'm loving the activities, it will even be my first time on the zipline".
