Bahiana is present with 10 works at the XXIII International Forum of the Scientific Department of Neuromuscular Diseases

Undergraduate and master's and doctoral degree students Bahiana stood out at the XXIII International Forum of the Scientific Department of Neuromuscular Diseases of the Brazilian Academy of Neurology, which took place on the 3rd and 4th of November, in Salvador. The group is led by professors Dr. Marilaine Matos de Menezes Ferreira and Dr. Marcela Câmara Machado Costa, also secretary of the Scientific Department of Neuromuscular Diseases at the Brazilian Academy of Neurology.

In addition to the significant number of approved works, academics Juliana Marcelino Pimentel, master's student in the Health Technologies Program, Cláudia Pedreira, master's student in Medicine and Human Health, Juliana Magalhães, doctoral student in the Medicine and Human Health program, and Paula Alves, fellow at the research group, had their research awarded.

The International Forum of the Scientific Department of Neuromuscular Diseases is held every two years, providing an important opportunity for neurologists, geneticists, child neurologists and rehabilitation professionals to update their knowledge on neuromuscular health topics. The main focus is the interaction of specialists who work with neuromuscular diseases, expanding the opportunity to present their work, lines of research, interactive debates and strengthening the contact network between professionals.
