popular names: mango jasmine, frangipani.

Natural occurrence: from the Mexican states of Aguascalientes, Jalisco and Puebla to Colombia and Venezuela and also in other regions of the world.

Features: It is a tree that can reach a height between 4m and 8m. Its stems are thick and smooth, gray or tan in color and sculptural in shape. Its branches look succulent and secrete a latex when injured. The leaves are about 30 cm long, are dark green and appear at the ends of the branches, falling in winter and spring.

Usage: It is widely used as an ornamental plant, due to its thick and smooth stems.
