A few meters from the Campus Brotas, the General Coordinator is located in a central neighborhood of the city. The building houses the institution's Rectory, as well as our Management and Quality Center (NGQ) and our Planning Advisory Board (ASPLAN).&nbsp; In the Coordination's gardens, there is a bronze statue of the late Professor Humberto de Castro Lima, former general coordinator of the FBDC. It is an environment surrounded by nature and historical landmarks of our academic community. Here, our students can contact the Institutional Academic Relationship and Internationalization Center (REAI) and the Research Ethics Committee (CEP). The General Coordination also includes the Distance Learning Nucleus (NEAD), the Educational Technologies Development Center (CEDETE), the Communication and Marketing Nucleus (NUCOM), the Evaluation Committee (CPA) and the Department of Infrastructure (DEPIN).
 In this building are also located the Commercial and People Development, Administrative and Financial, Legal, Communication and Marketing, Institutional Development and Social Impact Business coordinations.

With three pavilions and a modern structure, this campus is located in a central neighborhood of the Bahian capital. Are 9 laboratories, 23 rooms of class e 2 auditoriums to provide the ideal environment for academic and social development. Also on Campus Brotas, students, teachers, employees and the external public have access to a complete library with comfortable facilities and an up-to-date collection. Surrounded by a vast green area, this campus has 20 laboratories, 37 classrooms e 3 auditoriums. The library is also open to the outside community, with comfortable spaces for reading, studying and socializing. The environment has a modern and complete infrastructure, ample parking and social center with cafeteria. The Cabula Campus is also home to the Dental Center of Bahiana, where the Teaching-Care Outpatient Clinic is located, a field of practice for the quality training of dentistry students, from the 4th semester of the course, under the supervision of professors and has ability to serve up to 120 patients simultaneously. "Choosing the Health Area" was the theme of the live in which the Dean of Undergraduate and Graduate Education Lato Sensu, Dr. Maria de Lourdes Freitas Gomes, received the former student, adjunct professor of the Medicine course at Bahiana and director of the Couto Maia Institute, Dr. Ceuci Nunes. A highlight in the teachers' speech was the importance of the work developed in a multidisciplinary way in the health area. "The health professions are all very important. Each one has its specificity, but all are based on caring for the other or caring for the population and this knowledge is intertwined for the good of the patient," said Dr. Ceuci Nunes. Dr. Ceuci also told about her experience at the head of the Couto Maia Institute, a reference unit in the treatment of COVID-19, during the pandemic. She highlighted once again the importance of the multidisciplinary team, in the various health segments, both in the treatment of the disease in its acute stage and in the post-covid, such as physical therapists and physical education professionals. Still on the pandemic, the doctor who is an infectious disease specialist drew attention to the importance of vaccination and the maintenance of health safety protocols such as the use of masks, alcohol gel, social distancing and reaffirmed the decisive role of the Unified Health System.
