A few meters from the Campus Brotas, the General Coordinator is located in a central neighborhood of the city. The building houses the institution's Rectory, as well as our Management and Quality Center (NGQ) and our Planning Advisory Board (ASPLAN).&nbsp; In the Coordination's gardens, there is a bronze statue of the late Professor Humberto de Castro Lima, former general coordinator of the FBDC. It is an environment surrounded by nature and historical landmarks of our academic community. Here, our students can contact the Institutional Academic Relationship and Internationalization Center (REAI) and the Research Ethics Committee (CEP). The General Coordination also includes the Distance Learning Nucleus (NEAD), the Educational Technologies Development Center (CEDETE), the Communication and Marketing Nucleus (NUCOM), the Evaluation Committee (CPA) and the Department of Infrastructure (DEPIN).
 In this building are also located the Commercial and People Development, Administrative and Financial, Legal, Communication and Marketing, Institutional Development and Social Impact Business coordinations.

General Coordination

With three pavilions and a modern structure, this campus is located in a central neighborhood of the Bahian capital. Are 9 laboratories, 23 rooms of class e 2 auditoriums to provide the ideal environment for academic and social development. Also on Campus Brotas, students, teachers, employees and the external public have access to a complete library with comfortable facilities and an up-to-date collection. The campus also houses the Medical Center of Bahiana – Teaching-Care Outpatient Clinic, the Community Outpatient Clinic and the Physiotherapy and Psychology Clinics, which serve the population of Salvador and function as practice fields for students. <a style="color: #007bff; text-decoration: underline;" href="https://en.bahiana.edu.br/laboratorios-de-ensino-campus-brotas/">Discover the teaching laboratories.</a>

Surrounded by a vast green area, this campus has 20 laboratories, 37 classrooms e 3 auditoriums. The library is also open to the outside community, with comfortable spaces for reading, studying and socializing. The environment has a modern and complete infrastructure, ample parking and social center with cafeteria. The Cabula Campus is also home to the Dental Center of Bahiana, where the Teaching-Care Outpatient Clinic is located, a field of practice for the quality training of dentistry students, from the 4th semester of the course, under the supervision of professors and has ability to serve up to 120 patients simultaneously. Presentation of papers from XXII MCC – Oral communication

It is with great satisfaction that we publish the list of works that will be presented in the XX Journey of Scientific and Technological Initiation of the Bahiana. The presentations will take place on the day October 21, 2022 (Friday), from 14 pm, through the Zoom Meeting Platform. The access links to the virtual rooms, for the presentations, will be forwarded to the institutional e-mail of the students linked to the Scientific and Technological Initiation Program of the Bahiana (PIBICT/PIVICT). XX Journey of Scientific and Technological Initiation

Until the 20th of October, registrations are open for participation in the&nbsp;XXII Scientific and Cultural Exhibition of Bahiana. The event takes place on October 21 and 22, 2022, in online format, promoting &nbsp;a space for the presentation of academic, scientific and cultural productions and with sociopolitical debates built by professors, students and collaborators of the Bahiana, with the participation of members of external institutions. During the MCC, there will be XX Scientific Initiation Journey - PIBIC:&nbsp;XII Research Forum of the Bahiana,&nbsp;IX Extension Exhibition and Popular Health Education Tent. The amount collected at XXII MCC will be used, in part, for the donation of whole powdered milk to the Monitoring Program for Mothers with HTLV/BAHIANA and for the institutions Lar Vida e Pérolas de Cristo. RESEARCH GROUP OF THE YEAR AWARD The Research Group of the Year Award is given annually to the research groups of the Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública that have significantly contributed to the formation of a scientific culture, fostering and disseminating their activities linked to the areas of Science, Technology and Innovation. The award is given to two research groups, considering the following aspects: a) qualification and training of human resources for research; b) quality and relevance of scientific and technological productions; c) contribution to the dissemination and popularization of Science, Technology and Innovation. The groups will be awarded in two distinct categories: I – New or consolidating research groups (groups formed less than 03 years ago).&nbsp; II – Consolidated research groups (groups formed more than 03 years ago).
