A few meters from the Campus Brotas, the General Coordinator is located in a central neighborhood of the city. The building houses the institution's Rectory, as well as our Management and Quality Center (NGQ) and our Planning Advisory Board (ASPLAN).&nbsp; In the Coordination's gardens, there is a bronze statue of the late Professor Humberto de Castro Lima, former general coordinator of the FBDC. It is an environment surrounded by nature and historical landmarks of our academic community. Here, our students can contact the Institutional Academic Relationship and Internationalization Center (REAI) and the Research Ethics Committee (CEP). The General Coordination also includes the Distance Learning Nucleus (NEAD), the Educational Technologies Development Center (CEDETE), the Communication and Marketing Nucleus (NUCOM), the Evaluation Committee (CPA) and the Department of Infrastructure (DEPIN).
 In this building are also located the Commercial and People Development, Administrative and Financial, Legal, Communication and Marketing, Institutional Development and Social Impact Business coordinations.

General Coordination

With three pavilions and a modern structure, this campus is located in a central neighborhood of the Bahian capital. Are 9 laboratories, 23 rooms of class e 2 auditoriums to provide the ideal environment for academic and social development. Also on Campus Brotas, students, teachers, employees and the external public have access to a complete library with comfortable facilities and an up-to-date collection. Surrounded by a vast green area, this campus has 20 laboratories, 37 classrooms e 3 auditoriums. The library is also open to the outside community, with comfortable spaces for reading, studying and socializing. The environment has a modern and complete infrastructure, ample parking and social center with cafeteria. The Cabula Campus is also home to the Dental Center of Bahiana, where the Teaching-Care Outpatient Clinic is located, a field of practice for the quality training of dentistry students, from the 4th semester of the course, under the supervision of professors and has ability to serve up to 120 patients simultaneously. World Environment Day was celebrated at the Bahiana, on June 5th, with the planting of Grumixama (Eugenia Brasilienses) seedlings, a tree native to the Atlantic Forest and endemic to Brazil, on the campuses Brotas and Kabula. The initiative was coordinated by the committee Bahiana Verde, whose multidisciplinary team is made up of professors, managers and technicians from different areas of the institution, with the aim of deliberating and executing socio-environmental education projects and actions, based on the concept of integral health and collective health. Teachers, employees and students participated in the action. “It was wonderful to participate, because, in addition to putting me in contact with the earth and with this energy that comes from nature, it is a plant and we know how a plant makes a difference in our environment, in our planet”, declared Ravena Aguiar de Almeida, Student of the 4th semester of Dentistry. The member of Bahiana Verde and professor of the Biomedicine course Juliana Lima Spínola, says that the committee has been investing in communication and environmental education. “Today we have the objective of showing the concern of the Bahiana with environmental health, understanding that there is no human health without the health of the planet”.
