A few meters from the Campus Brotas, the General Coordinator is located in a central neighborhood of the city. The building houses the institution's Rectory, as well as our Management and Quality Center (NGQ) and our Planning Advisory Board (ASPLAN).&nbsp; In the Coordination's gardens, there is a bronze statue of the late Professor Humberto de Castro Lima, former general coordinator of the FBDC. It is an environment surrounded by nature and historical landmarks of our academic community. Here, our students can contact the Institutional Academic Relationship and Internationalization Center (REAI) and the Research Ethics Committee (CEP). The General Coordination also includes the Distance Learning Nucleus (NEAD), the Educational Technologies Development Center (CEDETE), the Communication and Marketing Nucleus (NUCOM), the Evaluation Committee (CPA) and the Department of Infrastructure (DEPIN).
 In this building are also located the Commercial and People Development, Administrative and Financial, Legal, Communication and Marketing, Institutional Development and Social Impact Business coordinations.

With three pavilions and a modern structure, this campus is located in a central neighborhood of the Bahian capital. Are 10 laboratories, 21 theatres, of class e 1 auditorium to provide the ideal environment for academic and social development. Surrounded by a vast green area, this campus has 20 laboratories, 30 classrooms e 3 auditoriums. The library is also open to the outside community, with comfortable spaces for reading, studying and socializing. The environment has a modern and complete infrastructure, ample parking and social center with cafeteria. A Athletic Bahiana of Medicine won the seventh overall championship of Intermed Bahia 2025, the main sports tournament among medical programs in the state. The event was held from October 6th to 11th at the Banco do Brasil Athletic Association (AABB) in Salvador. During the six days of competition, students from Bahiana They participated in competitions in basketball, volleyball, handball, futsal, swimming, table tennis, jiu-jitsu, chess and poker, as well as artistic performances by drummers and cheerleading.
For Victória Benevides, president of the Athletics Club and a sixth-semester medical student, the result is the fruit of collective planning and dedication. "This victory was achieved thanks to our commitment and organization, without a doubt. Our work, as lighthearted and fun as it may be at times, is taken very seriously throughout the year," said the student. According to her, goals are set, planning is developed with many variables, and, above all, it is executed by people who love the Athletics movement and what it represents. "The strength, grit, and determination of each athlete symbolize winning another title, and without them, none of this would be possible," Victória emphasized.
The vice-president of Atlética, Pedro Henrique Alcântara, also a 6th semester student, highlighted the role of the association in the integration between students: “The Bahiana lives in a unique context in Salvador. Here, people join the Atlética team when they still dream of passing the university entrance exam. The Serpent Mother welcomes them from the very beginning, and as the students grow, they form that sea of ​​​​people we see every year in the stands at Intermed. More than just competing, we are part of a space where we build character, break down barriers, and create lifelong bonds."

 A Athletic Bahiana of Medicine was, for the sixth time, the highlight of Intermed, the largest sporting event among medical courses in Bahia. The event took place from October 7 to 12, bringing together medical students from various universities in the state, in a day of competitions in the following categories: basketball, volleyball, handball, futsal, swimming, table tennis, jiu-jitsu, chess and poker, in addition to the artistic categories of drums andheerleading. The competitions took place at the facilities of the Banco do Brasil Athletic Association. In addition to being a six-time overall champion, Athletic Bahiana of Medicine won the award for best battery with his famous Frenética, in addition to first places in the categories of table tennis, men's futsal, handball, basketball and women's volleyball. For Beatriz Sobral, president of the Medical Athletics of Bahiana, “there is no big secret to winning the sixth championship. It was achieved and built during the year 2024, through our organized management and the daily effort of all our athletes and coaches. I am extremely proud of everyone's commitment to achieving the long-awaited sixth title. Greater than this achievement is only the impact that university sports have on the lives of students. This reinforces, in medical training, the importance of health care, through the practice of sports”, highlights the professor of the Medicine course, Rafael Lélis, who honored Intermed by supporting the Athletic Bahiana of Medicine, alongside professors Iura Gonzales Alves, Narciso Paiva, Venandra Andrade and Daniel Castelo Branco.
