A few meters from the Campus Brotas, the General Coordinator is located in a central neighborhood of the city. The building houses the institution's Rectory, as well as our Management and Quality Center (NGQ) and our Planning Advisory Board (ASPLAN).&nbsp; In the Coordination's gardens, there is a bronze statue of the late Professor Humberto de Castro Lima, former general coordinator of the FBDC. It is an environment surrounded by nature and historical landmarks of our academic community. Here, our students can contact the Institutional Academic Relationship and Internationalization Center (REAI) and the Research Ethics Committee (CEP). The General Coordination also includes the Distance Learning Nucleus (NEAD), the Educational Technologies Development Center (CEDETE), the Communication and Marketing Nucleus (NUCOM), the Evaluation Committee (CPA) and the Department of Infrastructure (DEPIN).
 In this building are also located the Commercial and People Development, Administrative and Financial, Legal, Communication and Marketing, Institutional Development and Social Impact Business coordinations.

With three pavilions and a modern structure, this campus is located in a central neighborhood of the Bahian capital. Are 9 laboratories, 23 rooms of class e 2 auditoriums to provide the ideal environment for academic and social development. Also on Campus Brotas, students, teachers, employees and the external public have access to a complete library with comfortable facilities and an up-to-date collection. Surrounded by a vast green area, this campus has 20 laboratories, 37 classrooms e 3 auditoriums. The library is also open to the outside community, with comfortable spaces for reading, studying and socializing. The environment has a modern and complete infrastructure, ample parking and social center with cafeteria. The Cabula Campus is also home to the Dental Center of Bahiana, where the Teaching-Care Outpatient Clinic is located, a field of practice for the quality training of dentistry students, from the 4th semester of the course, under the supervision of professors and has ability to serve up to 120 patients simultaneously. She represented the Bahiana and the HTLV/Neurosciences Center, presenting the lecture “Nursing Care Management of PVHTLV”. In his presentation, Aidê Nunes highlighted the training of Nursing students from the 2nd to the 9th semester for the management of care in a multidisciplinary team; the interlocution and development of actions with the HTLVida Association, where academics live experiences to understand the importance of organized social movements and the learning of nursing care as a political and assistance action, with consultations based on the principles of the SUS. “Talking about Nursing Care Management of PVHTLV also allowed highlighting the commitment and political and social responsibility of the HTLV Center in the person of prof. Dr. Bernardo Galvao. All together, in partnership with the HTLVida Association, we participated in Public Hearings in the Legislative Assembly, in the City Council, constituting a milestone in the fight against the negligence and invisibility of HTLV”, emphasizes the professor, emphasizing that the HTLV Center recently completed 20 years of foundation, date marked by a ceremony in which prof. Bernardo Galvão, as the founder of the unit, received a special tribute.

The HTLV Center at Bahiana Saúde celebrated 20 years of foundation with a special ceremony that honored its director and founder Dr. Bernardo Galvão Castro Filho, on the morning of November 17th, at the Coordinator of the Bahiana🇧🇷 The vice-rector of the Bahiana, Dr. Humberto Castro Lima Filho, the Centre's nurse, Prof. Aidê Nunes, the representative member of the HTLVida association, Mr. Francisco Daltro, in addition to the teacher at Bahiana and researcher Fernanda Grassi, representing Fiocruz. The Doctor. Bernardo Galvão received, from the director of the Medical Center of Bahiana, prof. doctor Luiz Eduardo Fonteles Ritt, a plaque marking the tribute. In the programming, a video was also shown, presenting the entire trajectory of the HTLV Center of the Bahiana, which for many years was a national reference in the treatment and care of people with HTLV. "That 'weird' force that emanates from you is what keeps me going," stated Dr. Galvão, honoring the Bahian singer Gal Like, who passed away on November 10th. "We cannot fail to celebrate this moment, a trajectory of struggle, effort and commitment by so many people, but led by Dr. Galvão who, with the support of Dr. Humberto Castro Lima and Dr. Maria Luisa Carvalho Soliani, made a great work with the public sectors so that we could give attention to these people who have a neglected disease", pointed out Dr. Humberto Castro Lima Filho.
