A few meters from the Campus Brotas, the General Coordinator is located in a central neighborhood of the city. The building houses the institution's Rectory, as well as our Management and Quality Center (NGQ) and our Planning Advisory Board (ASPLAN).&nbsp; In the Coordination's gardens, there is a bronze statue of the late Professor Humberto de Castro Lima, former general coordinator of the FBDC. It is an environment surrounded by nature and historical landmarks of our academic community. Here, our students can contact the Institutional Academic Relationship and Internationalization Center (REAI) and the Research Ethics Committee (CEP). The General Coordination also includes the Distance Learning Nucleus (NEAD), the Educational Technologies Development Center (CEDETE), the Communication and Marketing Nucleus (NUCOM), the Evaluation Committee (CPA) and the Department of Infrastructure (DEPIN).
 In this building are also located the Commercial and People Development, Administrative and Financial, Legal, Communication and Marketing, Institutional Development and Social Impact Business coordinations.

General Coordination

With three pavilions and a modern structure, this campus is located in a central neighborhood of the Bahian capital. Are 9 laboratories, 23 rooms of class e 2 auditoriums to provide the ideal environment for academic and social development. Also on Campus Brotas, students, teachers, employees and the external public have access to a complete library with comfortable facilities and an up-to-date collection. Surrounded by a vast green area, this campus has 20 laboratories, 37 classrooms e 3 auditoriums. The library is also open to the outside community, with comfortable spaces for reading, studying and socializing. The environment has a modern and complete infrastructure, ample parking and social center with cafeteria. The Cabula Campus is also home to the Dental Center of Bahiana, where the Teaching-Care Outpatient Clinic is located, a field of practice for the quality training of dentistry students, from the 4th semester of the course, under the supervision of professors and has ability to serve up to 120 patients simultaneously. <img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://cms.bahiana.cworks.cloud/uploads/bahiana/originals/279fee9a-d887-46da-bec4-a5d9041ce3ae.jpg" alt="Franciele Na Un" width="1240" height="930"> The only quilombola from the Northeast to participate in the Human Rights Training Course promoted by the United Nations (UN) High Commissioner Program, Franciele Silva, 24, a law student at the Federal University of Bahia, was one of ten selected for the course that also counts on the participation of indigenous peoples and other quilombolas from Brazil. Since 2019, Franciele has been part of the activities developed by the Extension Program "Bahiana in Defense of Life", a partnership between Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública and the Association of Remnants of Quilombo Rio dos Macacos, located in the municipality of Simões Filho/BA. Franciele represents youth in the residents' association and in recent years has been active in the Quilombo Youth Emancipation and Protagonism Project, with the aim of encouraging the strengthening of identity and culture through the historical, social, ethnic and racial dimensions of Quilombo Rio dos Macacos, as well as how to awaken critical thinking and empowerment. She is currently one of the field coordinators of the research "Living and health conditions of quilombola communities in Bahia and Sergipe", a partnership between the Instituto de Saúde Coletiva, at the Federal University of Bahia, and the School Bahiana and the Federal University of Sergipe. Franciele's participation in UN activity represents not only an individual achievement, but a collective victory for the community that has faced a complex social, political, health and human rights violation context for decades.
