A few meters from the Campus Brotas, the General Coordinator is located in a central neighborhood of the city. The building houses the institution's Rectory, as well as our Management and Quality Center (NGQ) and our Planning Advisory Board (ASPLAN).&nbsp; In the Coordination's gardens, there is a bronze statue of the late Professor Humberto de Castro Lima, former general coordinator of the FBDC. It is an environment surrounded by nature and historical landmarks of our academic community. Here, our students can contact the Institutional Academic Relationship and Internationalization Center (REAI) and the Research Ethics Committee (CEP). The General Coordination also includes the Distance Learning Nucleus (NEAD), the Educational Technologies Development Center (CEDETE), the Communication and Marketing Nucleus (NUCOM), the Evaluation Committee (CPA) and the Department of Infrastructure (DEPIN).
 In this building are also located the Commercial and People Development, Administrative and Financial, Legal, Communication and Marketing, Institutional Development and Social Impact Business coordinations.

With three pavilions and a modern structure, this campus is located in a central neighborhood of the Bahian capital. Are 9 laboratories, 23 rooms of class e 2 auditoriums to provide the ideal environment for academic and social development. Also on Campus Brotas, students, teachers, employees and the external public have access to a complete library with comfortable facilities and an up-to-date collection. Surrounded by a vast green area, this campus has 20 laboratories, 37 classrooms e 3 auditoriums. The library is also open to the outside community, with comfortable spaces for reading, studying and socializing. The environment has a modern and complete infrastructure, ample parking and social center with cafeteria. The Cabula Campus is also home to the Dental Center of Bahiana, where the Teaching-Care Outpatient Clinic is located, a field of practice for the quality training of dentistry students, from the 4th semester of the course, under the supervision of professors and has ability to serve up to 120 patients simultaneously. Music, poetry, theater, crafts, embroidery, drawing, photography and another diversity of artistic languages ​​marked the 2023 edition of the August of the Arts, which took place on the 29th and 30th, at Campus Brotas, and on the 31st, at the Campus Cabula da Bahiana. The event, which takes place annually, is organized by the Nucleus for Psychopedagogical Attention (NAPP) and, this year, students, teachers and employees participated who were able to show some of their artistic productions to the institution's community. In preparation for the event, vacancies were offered, free of charge, for workshops in various artistic languages, which took place from August 22nd to 25th. Renata Berenstein, a psychologist at NAPP, highlighted the importance of student participation in organizing the event. “The student committee was super important for the great participation of the public. Many students signed up for the workshops and, when visiting the exhibition spaces, joined the movement, participating with their creations”. Medicine course professor Ieda Aleluia, who participated in the event with an exhibition of watercolors, highlighted the relationship between the arts and health education: “Art saves! Art makes you connect with yourself and the world. It is a form of expression and care”. Student Isadora Pires de Oliveira, who participated with an embroidery stand, says that her relationship with art began in the pandemic, as a refuge: “As a student, it is clear that there are a series of benefits, we feel more comfortable with ourselves. itself, has more connection with the present, with our subjective, our singular. Particularly, I felt a great reduction in anxiety, an immense relaxation”.

Entries are open for the workshops and for the August das Arts Art Show which, this year, takes place on the 29th and 30th, at Campus Brotas, and on the 31st, at Campus Cabula. Applications will be open until the 17th of August. The Psychopedagogical Attention Nucleus (NAPP) is receiving registrations from students who wish to participate in the August of the Arts Student Organizing Committee, which will take place on August 29 and 30 at Campus Brotas and 31/08 at the Cabula Campus. The activity, held annually, brings together teachers, students and guests with the aim of promoting art within the academic environment. For this, a special program is held with workshops and exhibition spaces for the various artistic languages. Every year, Agosto das Artes proposes a diversified program with handicrafts, art workshops, photographic exhibitions, drawing and painting, musical and dance performances, as well as a gourmet catwalk with an exhibition of culinary art. Between the 22th and 31th of August, the Bahiana opens its doors to Agosto das Artes. The event, which was interrupted due to the pandemic, returns this year in a hybrid format and with several attractions, such as: artistic workshops; exhibitions of texts, poetry and short stories written by the community of Bahiana; music and poetry presentations created at the beginning of classes, in agreement with interested teachers; and a virtual exhibition of works made by our artistic community. The project is carried out by the Psychopedagogical Care Center (NAPP) and brings together teachers, students, collaborators and partners from the Bahiana with the objective of bringing art to the academic environment, through its different languages ​​and promoting health, quality of life and integration between the different courses. The use of masks in face-to-face actions is mandatory.&nbsp;
