A few meters from the Campus Brotas, the General Coordinator is located in a central neighborhood of the city. The building houses the institution's Rectory, as well as our Management and Quality Center (NGQ) and our Planning Advisory Board (ASPLAN).&nbsp; In the Coordination's gardens, there is a bronze statue of the late Professor Humberto de Castro Lima, former general coordinator of the FBDC. It is an environment surrounded by nature and historical landmarks of our academic community. Here, our students can contact the Institutional Academic Relationship and Internationalization Center (REAI) and the Research Ethics Committee (CEP). The General Coordination also includes the Distance Learning Nucleus (NEAD), the Educational Technologies Development Center (CEDETE), the Communication and Marketing Nucleus (NUCOM), the Evaluation Committee (CPA) and the Department of Infrastructure (DEPIN).
 In this building are also located the Commercial and People Development, Administrative and Financial, Legal, Communication and Marketing, Institutional Development and Social Impact Business coordinations.

General Coordination

With three pavilions and a modern structure, this campus is located in a central neighborhood of the Bahian capital. Are 7 laboratories, 23 rooms of class e 2 auditoriums to provide the ideal environment for academic and social development. Also on Campus Brotas, students, teachers, employees and the external public have access to a complete library with comfortable facilities and an up-to-date collection. Surrounded by a vast green area, this campus has 20 laboratories, 37 classrooms e 3 auditoriums. The library is also open to the outside community, with comfortable spaces for reading, studying and socializing. The environment has a modern and complete infrastructure, ample parking and social center with cafeteria. The Cabula Campus is also home to the Dental Center of Bahiana, where the Teaching-Care Outpatient Clinic is located, a field of practice for the quality training of dentistry students, from the 4th semester of the course, under the supervision of professors and has ability to serve up to 120 patients simultaneously. The Dean of Research, Innovation and Graduate Studies Stricto Sensu of Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública (EBMSP), through the Scientific and Technological Initiation Nucleus (NICTEC), ratifies and makes public the result of the selection of Scientific Initiation Scholarships (PIBIC),&nbsp;Unified Notice 2020, aimed at students regularly enrolled in undergraduate courses. 
 
The request for reconsideration of the result can be made only once,&nbsp;until 20/05/2020, by means of a letter delivered to the email address:&nbsp;nictec@bahiana.edu.br.

The Dean of Research, Innovation and Graduate Studies Stricto Sensu of Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública, through the Scientific and Technological Initiation Nucleus (NICTEC), makes public the selection for PIBIC 2020 scholarships and invites its academic community to present proposals for Scientific Initiation scholarships for the programs of the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq ), State of Bahia Research Support Foundation (FAPESB) and Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública, in accordance with the Normative Resolutions of each program. &nbsp;&nbsp;

UNIFIED SELECTION NOTICE FOR PIBIC 2020 SCHOLARSHIPS - Nº 01/2020

Graduates of the Biomedicine course at Bahiana Yasmin Cristine Azevedo Pereira e Bruna de Castro Barros were approved in the contest of Sarah Network of Rehabilitation Hospitals for the National Selection of Biomedical Imagenologists. The selection process consisted of objective, practical and discursive tests. 
 
“I am very happy with the approval in the competition, it is certainly a great achievement”, describes Bruna Barros. The biomedic explains that, during training in Bahiana, received incentives and tools that helped it to achieve this result, which also required a lot of effort. “Absolutely, my journey in Bahiana and the support of teachers and colleagues during this period made a difference”, he concludes. 
 
The results of the approval and classification in the tests were released on March 27, 2020, on the institution's website. The call will be announced in the Official Gazette, and vacancies are for Rio de Janeiro and Brasília.

Try not to stay connected to the news all the time, it increases the feeling of uncertainty and worry. If you find that this makes you feel bad, take a break and go see or do things that generate well-being. Filter the quantity and quality of information you receive and, if possible, share positive stories.

Try exercising and eating healthy. There are exercises that can be done at home, such as squats, jumping rope, or push-ups. Relaxing or practicing meditation and stretching is also a good idea! It is important to remember that excessive and prolonged use of alcohol or drugs makes a difference in physical and mental health, worsening depressive symptoms and anxiety disorders.&nbsp;

Listen to good music, take an online course, read that forgotten book, watch that highly recommended series or put into practice that recipe you've always wanted to make. Take the time available for this.

Try to see what you can learn from everything you are going through. Look at the situation realistically and without panicking. Find out what your best way to get through it all is and remember that it won't last forever.

You know that arrangement of closets, files and photos on the computer, e-mails in the mailbox, house plans? Take the time and do things that can occupy and relax your mind. But be careful, slow down.&nbsp; <img src="https://www.bahiana.edu.br/upload/napp-bahiana-9-20200407095931.jpg" alt="">6. TRY TO ESTABLISH A ROUTINE Try to do things at the same times and create a study and self-care routine, this will help the day happen in a more organized and peaceful way. Respect your usual meal and sleep schedules. Take the opportunity to review past content, update your studies. If you have online classes or activities through AVA, set daily times for this.

Take a part of your day to chat online with others and interact with those in your home; whether it's to talk about work, study or how you're feeling. Don't isolate yourself! <img src="https://www.bahiana.edu.br/upload/napp-bahiana-12-20200407095619.jpg" alt="">8. DON'T INTERRUPT YOUR TREATMENT 
It is normal to feel nervous or scared, but if you are on medical treatment, do not stop the medication and see your doctor if you notice any worsening of symptoms. In case of travelling, talk to your doctor so that he can give you a prescription. Otherwise, go to an emergency, but don't go without the medication.

Notice to the Academic Community about the services

O&nbsp;<a href="http://www.periodicos.capes.gov.br/" target="_blank">Capes Periodicals Portal</a>&nbsp;is the Brazilian portal for scientific information. Through this service, students, professors, researchers and employees of 194 higher education and research institutions across the country - among them the Bahiana - have access to up-to-date world scientific production. The portal contains complete articles from more than 12 thousand national and international journals, 130 databases with document summaries in all areas of knowledge, in addition to an important list of academic information sources with free access. 
 
When searching by title or database, resources such as the search tool integrated in the collection are available through a query by author, subject or keyword. 
 
To access the exclusive content of Portal Capes, it is necessary to register on the site, linking your account to the Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública. The login must be done on the institution's computers or via&nbsp;<a href="http://www.rnp.br/servicos/cafe.html" target="_blank">Federated Academic Community (CAFe)</a>. 
 
In academic units, the Bahiana it also makes available Capes WebTV programming, exclusive media for institutions and members of the Brazilian academic-scientific community.
