Book
"Psychology Health Profession: from training to professional practice" is the result of an interdisciplinary pedagogical practice based on the principles of debate and plural coexistence. It is aimed at students, professors and researchers involved with psychology as a science and profession.

Throughout the work, psychology is presented as a health profession, aimed at promoting the health and quality of life of individuals, organizations and communities. "This is intended to expand thinking about psychology in its organic ambivalence and multiple identity, as well as its responsibility in the role of transforming symbols and psychic-social patterns", says Mônica Ramos Daltro in the preface.

The first part of the book focuses on the processes of academic training, presents reflections, experiences, theorizations on objective and subjective issues that involve the work of academic training of psychologists in contemporary times, based on the experience in the Psychology course of Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública. The second presents consistent practical experiences in psychology, resulting from different ways of thinking about psychology as a health profession.
