Medicine receives new teachers

With the aim of integrating and welcoming the new professors who will be part of the faculty of the Medicine course from this semester onwards, the undergraduate coordination held a meeting on February 22 with the participation of important leaders from the Bahiana. The new professors were admitted to selections carried out in 2013 and 2014.

 
The program of the meeting included a presentation of the course, highlighting its differentials with regard to pedagogical guidelines. The general director of the Bahiana, Prof. Dr. Maria Luisa Carvalho Soliani, the coordinator of the Medicine course, Prof. Dr. Eliana de Paula, the pedagogical supervisor, Prof. Maria Luisa Cardoso from the Academic-Pedagogical Supervision Nucleus (NUSP), the Prof. . Wagner de Angeli Ferraz, representing the Psychopedagogical Care Center (NAPP), Prof. Sandra Brasil, coordinator of the Institutional Program for Teacher Development (PROIDD) and pedagogues Márcia Farias and Narciso Paiva, members of the Pedagogical Supervision Nucleus.

According to Prof. Dr. Eliana de Paula, the idea is to promote other meetings with groups of professors during the school year, as "they are excellent opportunities to identify the positive and negative points, in addition to opportunities for improvement for the medical course ".
