Bahiana is among the top five companies to work for in Bahia

After being recognized as the best private health education institution in the North/Northeast and one of the 25 best in Brazil, according to the University Ranking of the Folha de São Paulo (RUF) newspaper, the Bahiana It has just confirmed its excellence by receiving the Great Place to Work (GPTW) 2013 award, as one of the five best companies in Bahia to work for. The ceremony took place this Tuesday morning, February 18th, at the Sheraton Hotel da Bahia and was attended by directors and managers of large companies also contemplated with the award.

“I attribute this award to the desire we have to do good and to the belief we have in people. People are what is most important to us and this is not just a speech, we have really lived it”. Thus, the director of Bahiana, Dr. Maria Luisa Carvalho Soliani, celebrated yet another achievement of the School in the company of coordinators of undergraduate and graduate courses, managers and employees of the institution, also present at the ceremony.

The award took into account a survey carried out for six months in 35 organizations operating in Bahia. To reach the five winning companies, the GPTW applied two questionnaires, one quantitative, consisting of 58 questions answered directly by employees and another qualitative one evaluated by managers of the company itself. 

 

 

          

 

 

"Every institution needs results, but dreams are only built with people and I think the Bahiana makes it happen. It makes everyone dream together and the synergy we have today is the result of having developed our mission, vision and values ​​with the participation of everyone, this also working towards people's goals. The greatest importance we place today when selecting a person to work at Bahiana it is the institutional identity. May more people come and embrace this dream of being a truly wonderful place to work”, declared the Human Resources manager at Bahiana, Telma Bastos, who was in charge of the GPTW evaluation process at the institution.
