I LABESB Conference: open registration

Event brings together experts and students discussing the multidisciplinary treatment of halitosis.

Halitosis, a disease that affects around 30% of the Brazilian population, will be the theme of the XNUMXst Conference of the League Bahiana of Education in Oral Health (LABESB). The event, held in partnership with the Bahia sectional of the Brazilian Dental Association (ABO-BA), will take place at Auditorium II of the Cabula Academic Unit next day February 20 (Thursday), at 18h.

With an interdisciplinary approach, the conference will bring together specialists, professors and students from various health areas to debate aspects related to bad breath – with emphasis on the association of the clinical picture with mental disorders.

The meeting will feature the distinguished participation of Prof. Dr. Miriam Gorender, president of the Psychiatric Association of Bahia, and Dr. Ana Kolbe, the first Brazilian representative in the International Society for Research on Mouth Odors and president of the Association Bahiana of Studies and Research on Mouth Odors.
