EDUROAM: the new Wi-Fi from Bahiana

More speed, range, safety and convenience. Developed for the international education and research community, the eduroam – new Wi-Fi network Bahiana – connects its users to a universe of experiences and knowledge.

The initiative allows students, researchers and teams from participating institutions to obtain internet connectivity through wireless connection in any location that offers the service.

Launched in Brazil in 2012, the eduroam already brings together institutions of approximately 60 countries. In addition to security, the network brings the benefit of its integration into the Federated Academic Community (CAFe).

Access and login
Secure, wireless internet access through eduroam is performed without the need for multiple logins and passwords. After registering at the base of the service, followed by configuring the user's computer to connect to the network, it is possible to access the web at any service provider in the world. 

To access the eduroam, use the same login and password as the Student or Teacher Portal.
