With the objective of supporting the Professional Guidance Program of Colégio Anglo-Brasileiro, the Bahiana received, on November 26th, the visit of a group of students from the 2nd year of high school. Accompanied by the program coordinator, Irene Tavares and the school's director, Selene Dias, the students attended a lecture on the Medicine course, presented by the pedagogical supervisors of the Bahiana, Márcia Farias and Gidélia Alencar.

Welcomed by representatives of the Institutional Relationship Center (RELACI), Paola Oliveira and Queise Bahia, the visitors followed the program that also presented a demonstration of first aid actions carried out by academics Felipe Hordonho, Mariana Veloso and Fabiane Nunes, monitors of the Nursing course and members of the Academic League of First Aid (LAPS). "I found it very good and organized. The college students are very committed and competent in conducting the first aid experience," declared the director of Anglo-Brasileiro, Selene Dias.

On the occasion, the group also carried out a guided visit to the laboratories of the Bahiana. "The visit was very fruitful and pleasant. I managed to absorb all the information made available. I would like to thank you for the opportunity," reported Anglo-Brasileiro student Guilherme Menezes.

The enchantment with the possibilities offered by health professions was also reflected in the high school student Luiza Alves. "I am very grateful for this visit today, and I would like to congratulate the entire Faculty team Bahiana. The lectures and demonstrations were wonderful.”

The visit is part of the Ser program. Bahiana Por Um Dia, an initiative of the institution that aims to promote the encounter of high school students with academic experience, in addition to clarifying doubts common to the vocational maturation process.

"I have been participating in the Ser Program for three years Bahiana For One Day. We have always been well attended by very competent professionals. I highlight, on this visit, the commitment of the students who taught the experience of first aid. For high school students in the decision-making process, this experience is very important", declared the coordinator of the Professional Guidance Program for Anglo-Brasileiro, Irene Tavares.
