Share

"Prevention and early diagnosis: why prevent?" was the theme of the Men's Health workshop, held on August 9, at the Academic Units Brotas and Cabula, involving male employees from the maintenance, human resources, library, concierge, hygiene sectors, among others.

The main objective of the action was to address prevention and care for the health of the participants, having as relevant points personal hygiene, condom use, sexually transmitted diseases, penile and prostate cancer, cardiovascular diseases and eating habits.

The event was attended by occupational physician Dr. Dario Soares, labor nurse Tássia Teles, as well as occupational nursing technician Danielle Souza and her intern Milena Santos Oliveira.

The workshop was a way for the occupational medical service to dynamically bring knowledge to employees, with an accessible language, so that they understood how to prevent diseases and health problems. Employees actively participated in the dynamics brought up in the lecture, showing their acceptance of the purpose established by the workshop.
