VI Medical Internship Seminar of Bahiana

Students from the 4th, 5th and 6th semesters of the Medicine course met last Saturday, during the VI Medical Internship Seminar at Bahiana. The event had a special program that took place in the auditorium of the Cabula Academic Unit. The students were welcomed by the course coordinator, Prof. Dr. Eliana de Paula, who held the official opening of the work.

The first conference of the seminar addressed the theme "Being a doctor", given by the CREMEB adviser, Dr. Jecé Freitas Brandão and mediated by Dr. Nedy Marina Branco Cerqueira, who is also the agency's adviser. Afterwards, a round table with the theme "The medical job market" was held, with the participation of Dr. Isabela Pilar, resident physician at Hospital Geral Roberto Santos; the president of CREMEB, Dr. José Abelardo Garcia de Menezes; the director of SOS Vida, Dr. José Espiño and the professor of the Medicine course and coordinator of the Telemedicine and Telehealth Center at Bahiana (NUTESB) and the Master of Health Technologies, Dr. Marta Menezes.

After the break, the second round table was held. With the theme "Challenges of the newly graduated physician", the activity was attended by the secretary of CREM, Dr. Jedson Nascimento; the vice president of ABM, Dr. Robson Moura; the coordinator of PROVAB, Dr. José Cristiano Soster and the coordinator of the Medical Internship at Bahiana, Prof. Dr. Dilton Mendonça who mediated the table.
