Calouro Solidário delivers donations to a social institution

Held from July 29th to August 5th, the Calouro Solidário project, implemented by the Innovation Academic Directory (DAI) of the Dentistry course, was a real success. For a week, freshmen made donations of different items each day. In all, more than two hundred 200 items were collected, including personal hygiene material, clothing, toys and non-perishable food.

The donation, which took place on August 19, was destined to the Family Integration Center (Ceifar) which is part of the Cabula-Beiru complex. This center is an old partner of the Dentistry course at Bahiana and, therefore, it was chosen as the beneficiary entity. “We would like to thank the freshmen of the 2013.2 Dentistry class who, in a very solicitous way, actively participated in the process”, declared José Renato de Carvalho Gomes, student and director of Image and Public Relations at DAI.
