13th International Conference on Public Communication of Science and Technology (PCST)

Salvador will host the 13th International Conference on Public Communication of Science and Technology (PCST) to be held from May 5th to 8th, 2014, at the Convention Center of the Hotel Pestana Bahia. For the first time in Latin America, the conference will focus on "Dissemination of Science for social inclusion and political engagement".

Registration to participate in the event as a listener is now open, and can be made through the website http://www.pcst-2014.org/index.php/pt-BR/registration.

Brazil was strategically chosen with the objective of sharing experiences, challenges and diversity on the growing theme of Communication and Science in Latin America, encouraging the participation of students and researchers who, otherwise, would not have the opportunity to participate in this international event, thus how to help equalize the contributions of each region to the international debate on the topic. Previous conferences have been held on all other continents.
