The Bahia State Research Support Foundation (Fapesb) has open enrollments until August 22 for the 2013 Innovative Ideas contest, which, in this edition, will award 18 projects with values of R$ 5 thousand and R$ 15 thousand. At Bahiana, researchers and students interested in competing will be able to count on the support of the Technological Innovation Nucleus - NIT.
To participate in the contest, the candidate and other members of his team must reside in Bahia and be at least 16 years old. Proposals can be submitted in the following categories: high school students or high school technical professional education; undergraduates; Lato sensu and Stricto sensu graduate students; researchers; independent graduates and independent inventors.
Proposals must present potential for introduction on the market, which is unprecedented or contains some new feature that differs from the current standard.
The competition aims to promote the participation of the student and academic community, researchers, graduates and independent inventors in entrepreneurship and innovation actions, disseminating the culture of entrepreneurship in the state and encouraging the development of innovative ideas.
