Psychology course professors at Bahiana were gathered at the Academic Unit Brotas on June 14th and 15th to participate in the training "Curriculum: textures and differences". The initiative is part of the actions of the Institutional Program for Teacher Development (PROIDD).

The first day of activities was coordinated by the Master in Education from UFBA, Prof. José Carlos Rego, affectionately known as Mestre Pinduca, who presented different conceptions of curriculum and marked the political, utopian and temporal dimensions regarding the curricular issue. "The visions of man, education and psychology present in the curriculum of the Bahiana", says the coordinator of the Psychology course, Prof. Mônica Daltro.

During the second day, the group of professors chose the values that guide their pedagogical practice present in the curriculum, which is understood as a space for displacement. On the occasion, the internship teachers also presented the students' evaluation and the demands that arose during the period.

The Psychology course curriculum, implemented in 2010, has an innovative approach, and its content is divided into five thematic axes: "Being Human and Life Cycle"; "Fundamentals in Psychology"; "Society and Culture Psychology"; "Interventions in Psychology" and "Research in Psychology".
