Induced Contention Therapy is the subject of a graduate course

Train physiotherapists and occupational therapists to apply the technique of Induced Contention Therapy - TCI is the main objective of the extension course that the Postgraduate, Research and Extension of Bahiana takes place on the 24th and 25th of November and the 1st and 2nd of December. The course will also enable the training of participants in the application of specific assessment scales.

TCI is recognized today as an important technique in the process of rehabilitation of the paretic upper limb. The technique involves intensive training, with guided activities, a behavioral approach, added to the restriction on the use of the nonparetic limb. When taking the course, professionals will be able to use the TCI properly, based on assessments and use of scales recommended by the method.
