Walk "Towards quality of life"

Nursing students participating in internships at Hospital Geral Roberto Santos (HGRS) represented the Bahiana on the walk "Towards quality of life" which took place on November 4th, at Dique do Tororó. The event was a promotion of the health unit and brought together, in addition to hospital servers, a group of cyclists.

The initiative had the objective of celebrating the Civil Servant's Day and the World Day to Combat Stroke (CVA), which took place on October 28th and 29th, respectively.

In addition to walking, services were offered to the population and hikers, such as blood glucose tests, heart rate and blood pressure measurement, nutritional assessment and clarification on Sexually Transmitted Diseases.

"In this opportunity, we made it possible to expand the training process of our students at the Bahiana, which was very interesting", declared the professor of the Nursing course and coordinator of the internship fields at HGRS, Cristiane Magali.
