Former students get new portal

Bahiana has just launched another communication channel with its former students: the Alumni Portal Bahiana, a website entirely aimed at all those who attended undergraduate, graduate or who studied, at some point in their life, in Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública. The objective is to keep alive the bond and communication between those who participated in the construction of the institution's 60-year history.

For this reason, the portal has sections on News, Opinion, Job Vacancies, Courses, Events Agenda and Minha História, a space where former students can share experiences from the time they studied at Bahiana.

To the Communication and Marketing manager at Bahiana, Regina Carvalho, “the portal is characterized as a permanent and dynamic channel of communication between the Bahiana and his alumni. The greatest intention is the continuous bond, seeking to extend and strengthen the relationship of trust already established in other moments of their formation”. Therefore, information is available about extension, specialization, master's and doctoral courses, in addition to the possibility for graduates to register in order to receive information about employment opportunities.

According to the Institutional Relationship manager at Bahiana, Fabiana Perin, the Alumni Portal brings together a series of tools that are focused on promoting greater networking among professionals trained by the School. "THE Bahiana, in fact, it also opens up this space to listen to its former students and participate in the present and future of their lives”, declares Perin.
