Articles by teachers from Bahiana they are present in national and foreign publications.

This week, when the Physiotherapist's Day is celebrated, October 13, the Physiotherapy course at Bahiana brings great news about the participation of professors in national and international publications.

Professor Dr. Patrícia Lordêlo is the author of chapters in the books “Manual de Urologia Pediatric” and “Physiotherapy Applied to Women's Health.” In addition, she signs, along with professor Maria Luiza Veiga, also of the Physiotherapy course and the professor Dr. Ubirajara Barroso, from the Medicine course, the scientific article "Evolution of constipation after parasacral transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation in child with lower urinary tract dysfunction - A pilot study", published in Journal of Pediatric Urology.

Professor Maria Luiza Veiga is also the author of one of the chapters of the book “Education in Health in the Community - Pedagogical elements of an interdisciplinary practice”, a product of the Candeal Program and recently launched in partnership with UNEB, in the latest edition of the Scientific Exhibition and Cultural of Bahiana.

Professor Adriana Cardim is also part of the group of authors of the book "A Saúde do Trabalhador na Bahia", signing one of its chapters, and professor Adriana Campos Sasaki is the author of one of the texts in the publication "Practical Conduct in Neurological Physiotherapy".

Another novelty in Physiotherapy at Bahiana is that the scientific study "Chronic temporomandibular stimulation: clinical, blind and randomized trial" was the big winner of the VJ Valério Incentive Award for the Study of Pain, in the category Best Clinical Study, given during the 10th Brazilian Congress on Pain. The study was authored by graduate students under the guidance of professors Abrahão Baptista and Bruno Goes.
