LAPS holds a lecture cycle

Event brought together Nursing students and professors.

On September 11, the Cabula Academic Unit hosted the cycle of lectures Urgency and Emergency: How important is it? What should we do? Organized by Academic League of First Aid (LAPS), the event was attended by students, professors and researchers in the field of Nursing.

The program included the lectures "The importance of Basic Life Support in Cardiology - SBV - in our society", given by Leonardo Clement (Institute of Integral Health) and "Initial Approach to the Patient Victim of Pre-Hospital Trauma", by the general coordinator of SAMU Salvador, Ivan Paiva.

LAPS
Founded on March 24, 2011, LAPS is a student entity linked to Bahiana and formed by Nursing students. It aims to promote the knowledge and performance of first responders in emergency situations, covering from the initial stage to the end of care, as well as encouraging and guiding members and the general public about this practice.
