Remember stories, celebrate, say goodbye, pack your luggage and move on to new challenges. This is the path that all undergraduate students follow until entering professional life. And it was with a feeling of accomplishment that the third class of the Nursing course at Bahiana met, on the 14th of June, to carry out, with their teachers, the Aula da Saudade.

Organized by the NAPP with the support of the Pedagogical Supervision, the program included dynamics aimed at recovering memories and reflecting on the learning of the last four years. “I have always tried to help more in the students' maturation, so that they become professionals capable of changing reality”, said the course coordinator, Prof. Maria de Lourdes Gomes Freitas. Other teachers of the course were also present, recalling important moments and leaving advice.

“The experience was wonderful. At the beginning, I went to a student who had “a certain” problem with Nursing, even thinking about changing to Dentistry, but, at the end of the four-year course, I am very grateful to my profession, I have even started graduate here at Bahiana and I'm in love with the area I've chosen, which is the Surgical Center”. The sincere and emotional words are from Maria Isabel Weibel who still exalts the pride of being Bahiana, “I just have to thank the Bahiana, I believe that I have chosen the best college. say that i am Bahiana and it all. I'm proud of my college.”

With a slightly different story, Sheila Almeida dos Santos, also an undergraduate, says: “when I opted for the health area and when I chose Nursing, I only did it in Bahiana, as I would not like to study elsewhere. When I started studying, I didn't know much about nursing, but I found out because of Professor Sandra Portela, who taught me beautifully. That's what enchanted me with the profession”. She says that, although the course is new, it has been growing a lot and enabled her professional maturity. “From now on I hope I can excel in my profession!”

The graduate student Luis Fernando Santos Andrade said that he always had the desire to enter the health area and that he had the encouragement of his family. He admits: “Today I feel happy and fulfilled. If I had the chance to go back in time and choose another profession, I wouldn't choose anything else. Today I don't know how to do anything other than what I learned here”. And about the School, Luís doesn't spare words, “the Bahiana it surprised all my expectations. For me, today, here in Salvador, in terms of a health and nursing university, the Bahiana is reference. I'm sure I won't have any difficulty entering the job market”.

At the end of the meeting, Professor Arthur Dias and “his keyboards” animated the farewell with lots of music and dancing.

That's it! THE Bahiana wish all the new alumni of the Nursing course good luck!
