International Thyroid Awareness Week

How to conduct the investigation of thyroid nodules? What is hyper and hypothyroidism? What are the main thyroid diseases? How to do a thyroid self-exam? These and other questions will be answered to the public on the morning of May 25, during the conference that will take place at the Academic Unit Brotas da Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública, from 8h. 

The event marks the International Thyroid Awareness Week, celebrated from May 23rd to 27th and is an achievement of Bahiana in partnership with the Brazilian Society of Endocrinology and Regional Metabolism of Bahia.

The schedule will include lectures How to conduct the investigation of thyroid nodules, Thyroid Cancer, Hypothyroidism and Hyperthyroidism and mini-classes Thyroid Disease and Thyroid Self-Examination and Endocrine Guidance.
