Labed Scientific Farms

Temporomandibular Dysfunction e Orofacial pain will be the themes of the next Scientific Thursday of the Bahian Academic League for the Study of Pain (Labed), which will take place on May 24, at 19 pm, in room 204 of the Academic Unit Brotas. The lecture will be given by Prof. Dr. John Macedo.

João Baptist de Macêdo Sobrinho
Graduated in Dentistry from the Federal University of Bahia (1995), specialization in Temporomandibular Disorders and Orofacial Pain from CFO (2003), Master's Degree in Maxillofacial Surgery and Traumatology - UNIVERSITÉ PIERRE ET MARIE CURIE-PARIS VI (1998) and Ph.D. in Dentistry (Laser concentration area in Dentistry) - Federal Universities of Bahia and Paraíba (2004). He was a regular monitor (1992 and 1993) and volunteer (1994 and 1995) in anatomy at ICS/UFBA, substitute professor in human physiology at ICS/UFBA (1998 to 2001), at UNIME (2003 to 2006) and at FAMAM (2004.2 to 2005.1) and neurophysiology and neuroanatomy from UNIJORGE (2005 to 2007). He is currently Associate Professor of Functional Neuroanatomy (neuroanatomy and neurophysiology) and Human Physiology at UCSAL, since February 2000 and at the Post-Graduate Nucleus Salvador/Iappem at FUNORTE, since January 2007.
