The Media and its Scopes in the Change of Subjectivity.

The changes in the subject due to the influence of new media was the focus of the lecture by Prof. Anna Amélia Faria that took place on April 26, at the Academic Unit Brotas. On the occasion, the speaker discussed with the participants the transforming impact of the artistic image, the internet and its social networks and television in the contemporary community.

The event was attended by the coordinator of the Psychology course, Prof. Mônica Daltro, the CEDETE manager and professor of the Medicine course, Antonio Carlos Costa and the pedagogical supervisor of the Academic Unit Brotas, the pedagogue Lígia Marques Vilas Boas, as well as teachers and students.

Prof. Anna Amélia Faria
Graduated in Psychology from Universidade São Marcos (1995), has a master's degree in Communication from the University of Brasília (2003), and a PhD in the Postgraduate Program in Letters and Linguistics from the Federal University of Bahia (2009). She is associated with the National Association of Researchers in Visual Arts (Anpap) by the Visual Arts Education Committee (CEAV). She is sub-editor of the Virtual Journal of Culture and Literature Verbo 21 and a consultant for the Anísio Teixeira Institute in 2010, in the LeiturAção Project. She has experience in the field of Psychoanalysis, working on the following subjects: body, culture, contemporary art, behavior analysis.
