Videoconferencing talks about the fear of going to the dentist

"A case of dentist phobia: diagnosis and clinical management". This is the theme of the next videoconference of the SIG of TelePsychiatry that will take place this Friday, April 20, from 10 am, at the Educational Technologies Development Center - CEDETE. The scientific activity has as a speaker the professor Dr. Valéria Queiroz, from the Fluminense Federal University, and as a mediator the professor of the Medicine course at Bahiana, Milena Ponde.

Dr. Valéria Queiroz

Degree in Medicine from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (1992), Medical Residency in Psychiatry from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1994), Master's in Psychiatry, Psychoanalysis and Mental Health from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1997) and Doctorate in Neurobiology and Clinic of Affective Disorders from the Università degli Studi di Pisa (2002-2005). She is currently adjunct professor, coordinator of the Laboratory of Psychiatry and Mental Health and coordinator of the Specialization Course in Psychiatry at the Fluminense Federal University (UFF). She is also supervisor of the Medical Residency Program in Psychiatry at Hospital Universitário Antônio Pedro. Has experience in Medicine, focusing on Psychiatry, acting on the following subjects: suicide, mood disorders, neuropsychiatric assessment.
