Physiotherapist Day

Life is movement. The phrase may very well relate to the profession of physical therapist, celebrated on October 13th, the date on which it was regulated, in Brazil, in 1969. To celebrate with students and teachers, the Bahiana and the coordination of the Physiotherapy course prepared a special program that took place on Thursday at the Academic Unit Brotas.

The opening started at 7:30 am with the lecture Integrative Medicine: advanced physical therapy approach, with the coordinator of the Physiotherapy course, Prof. Roseny Ferreira, followed by the speech of Prof. Lauro Rocha on Microphysiotherapy. At 9 am, the workshops began: We Have Our Own Time, Cooperative Games e Old or Old?

In the afternoon shift, from 13 pm, the schedule was resumed and, once again, professors Roseny Ferreira and Lauro Rocha presented the themes Integrative Medicine: advanced physical therapy approach and Microphysiotherapy. From 14 pm, the following workshops were held: Gymnastics Play and Lots of Fun! Old or Old? We Have Our Own Time, Body Approaches e Employability: personal and professional skills.
