Bahiana supports large Women's Health meeting

Once again, the Bahiana hosts an event of regional importance, with the participation of great Brazilian names in the health area. it is about the V Northeastern Meeting of Physiotherapy in Women's Health, which takes place from October 6th to 8th, at the Academic Units Brotas and Cabula and will have the participation of more than 20 speakers from different states of the country.

For its realization, the Meeting has the support of Bahiana, State University of Paraíba, Success Marketing and Strategy, Miotec - Electrography and Feedback, Brazilian Association of Physiotherapy in Women's Health and Laborie.
 

Agenda

On October 6, workshops are held on topics related to women's health. Classes will be held at the Academic Unit Brotas, from 8 am. On the 7th and 8th (Friday and Saturday), the Meeting will be hosted at the Cabula Academic Unit.

According to the president of the Meeting and professor of the Physiotherapy course at Bahiana, Dr. Patrícia Lordêlo, “this initiative arose from the need to create one more scientific and technological option for the Northeast. It directly adds value to the region, as it makes it possible to invest in training for physiotherapists who work in women's health”. She completes, explaining that women's health is a goal within Collective/Public Health worldwide, nationally and locally. "For this purpose, it is necessary to continue scientific meetings that promote updating, integration with professionals in the field who aim to work in health promotion, seeking to disseminate the principles of the Unified Health System, multidisciplinary integration, with broadening the view, encompassing the physical, emotional, social and cultural aspects, and focus on the humanization of care”, he concludes.
