XI Scientific and Cultural Exhibition of Bahiana

Dozens of scientific activities mobilize the Cabula Academic Unit on the next 30th of September and 1st of October. It is the Scientific and Cultural Exhibition that reaches its 11th edition full of news, such as the participation of institutions such as the Center for Studies and Therapy of Drug Abuse (CETAD) and the Health Department of the State of Bahia (SESAB) .

As a parallel program, the IX PIBIC Initiation Journey will be held, in which student researchers with scholarships from the Institutional Program for Scientific Initiation Scholarships (PIBIC) will present the work developed during the year, under the supervision of faculty advisors.

The schedule for this edition has a special fact: on September 29, the date before the first day of the Exhibition, the I Forum of Researchers of the Bahiana, an initiative of the Postgraduate, Research and Extension coordination that will bring together important names in scientific research in Bahia, as well as institutions such as the Foundation for Research Support of the State of Bahia (Fapesb) and the Financier of Studies and Projects (Finep) .

This year, as usual, children, teenagers, adults and seniors from Salvador communities participate in social responsibility actions, promoted through health education activities that prioritize preventive habits worked on experiences, playful games and practical activities.

Stands
Throughout Friday, whoever visits the Scientific and Cultural Exhibition of Bahiana you will be able to learn - and a lot - about health and education with the stands of Academic Leagues, Health Surveillance and sectors of the Bahiana such as the Technological Development Center (CEDETE), Communication and Marketing Center (Nucom) and Human Resources.

Other themes will also gain prominence such as Practical Application of Functional Elastic Bandage, Health Promotion, Nursing Angels Program, Health Heroes in Bahia and Preparation of Dry Skeletons of Some Vertebrate Animals.

Who wants to know the new Sport project at Bahiana, you can also visit the space that will be set up especially to receive students and collaborators, as well as the Graduate, Research and Extension programs. The Junior Physical Therapy Company and the Science with Acarajé project are also part of the large scientific fair.
