Family Health Unit Honors Prof. Humberto de Castro Lima

In an atmosphere of great emotion, this Thursday morning, September 1st, the Prof. Humberto de Castro Lima, located at Rua Tomaz Gonzaga, S/N, Pernambués. The ceremony was attended by Prof. Humberto, Mariana Soliani and her nephew, Dr. Guilherme Castro Lima, the mayor of Salvador, João Henrique Carneiro, the Municipal Health Secretary, Guilherme José dos Santos Filho, the councilor and professor at Bahiana, Jorge Jambeiro, from councilor Léo Kret, representative of the community of Pernambués, in addition to religious active in neighborhood associations.

Very moved, Mariana Soliani unveiled the inauguration plaque and thanked Professor. Humberto. “This honor makes me very moved because the professor was a person who dedicated his life to health and to improving people's quality of life”.

The unit has eight medical offices, four dental offices, a waiting room, restrooms for patients and adapted for the disabled, pharmacy, vaccine, dressing and procedure rooms. On the second floor an auditorium for 60 people was installed, administration, storeroom, pantry, meeting rooms, sterilization rooms and toilets for employees.
