VIII Health Fair of the Parish of Our Lady of Brotas

Students and teachers of Bahiana joined health professionals from organizations such as Hospital Humberto Castro Lima/IBOPC, Hemoba, Sesc, Instituto de Perinatologia da Bahia and Municipal Health Department to promote free care for the community of Brotas and surroundings, last Saturday, August 13th. The special initiative marked the participation of the School in the VIII Health Fair of the Parish of Nossa Senhora de Brotas, where the event was held.

Through the Teaching-Assistance Outpatient Clinic of Bahiana (ADAB), teachers and students offered the public capillary blood glucose tests, blood pressure measurement, calculation of body mass index (BMI) and waist circumference, in addition to health education activities.
