Beginning of the academic semester - Psychology and Physiotherapy

Bahiana holds a special opening for the academic semester of the Psychology and Physiotherapy courses.

"Human relations in contemporaneity" was the theme of the opening lecture of the academic semester of Psychology and Physiotherapy courses at Bahiana which took place in the early morning of last Friday, July 29, at the Academic Unit Brotas. The opening speech was given by the coordinator of the Psychology course, Prof. Mônica Daltro, who, on the occasion, highlighted the paradigm shift in human relationships that currently have been based on the high degree of consumerism, leaving personal aspects, emotional and social.

“It is important that we address the issue, given that society is increasingly being built through consumer relations. The 'having' is increasingly ahead of the 'being'”, explained the speaker.

Then it was the turn of the professor of the Biomedicine course and leader of the Selective Collection Project of Bahiana, Edson Félix, talk about the initiative to the audience made up of students and employees of the School. As a guest, the event received Fátima Sampaio, Strategy and Management Advisor at the Superintendence of the Environment of the Municipality of Salvador, who presented the conference “How to take care of the planet: a look at the luxury of garbage”.
