"Our course, although we are starting the first class in the Bahiana, there's a story that goes along with Cria (Psychopedagogical Vocational and Human Resources Centre), which started in 1990, with prof. In her speech, Prof. Mônica, who is a Master in Medicine and Human Health, by Bahiana, explained the individual in today's world and the new contemporary relationships. “The contemporary world values consumption much more. And if this is so, today everything is temporary, volatile, relationships are disposable. This consumption goes beyond the purchase, the relationship with the object, reaching consumption in relation to time, for example"He explained.

In a light way, the coordinator of the Psychology course also spoke about how pedagogues today have to be prepared to deal with children and young people with different references than those they had in their training period. This, not judging it as good or bad, "but establishing that changes are taking place in different areas, and perhaps these new references are the most appropriate to deal with this world we have today".
