Bahiana participates in the II Health and Social Action Fair of the Amazonas Allotment

Blood pressure measurement, blood glucose test, lectures on first aid, oral hygiene and contraceptive methods were some of the activities carried out by the group of students from Bahiana, members of the Candeal Program, during the II Health and Social Action Fair which took place on March 26 at Loteamento Amazonas, Cabula. The action of a community nature involved hundreds of local residents, having as partners the Bahiana, Embasa, IBES, Salvador City Hall and the Residents' Association, when World Water Day was celebrated.

This year, the Candeal Program, which has already been successfully operating in the Sanitary District of Brotas, since 2006, it was expanded to also serve the residents of the community of the Amazonas Subdivision with education and health care activities. Participation in the Fair marks the beginning of this new work cycle that aims to promote an improvement in the quality of life of the people served.
