Last Friday, March 18, in the morning, students of the Medicine course, a doctor and two agents from the Candeal Family Health Center were able to follow along, via videoconference shown on the CEDET, the symposium "Child Abuse and Parthenal Alienation: from Neurobiology to Forensic Psychiatry", presented by the teacher Valeria Queiroz, from the Fluminense Federal University (RJ).

During the videoconference, the students were moderated by the assistant professor of Bahiana, Dr. Milena Pondé, also a researcher at the Interdisciplinary Autism Research Laboratory.

Besides Bahiana, were connected to the transmission, which took place on a national network via the Telemedicine University Network (RUTE), the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ), the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE) , the Federal University of Espírito Santo (UFES), the Brotherhood of the Santa Casa de Misericórdia of Porto Alegre (ISCMPA) and the State University of Montes Claros (Unimontes - MG).
