The VI Pedagogical Forum of BAHIANA it was thought of as an excellent opportunity to address the differences, conflicts and possibilities of meeting or mismatch between generations, those of teachers (Generation Babyboomer – Bb and Generation X) and those of our current and future students (Generation Y and Generation Z).

The workshops on Friday, October 22nd, will have themes aimed at new methodologies that can be used in real or virtual classrooms, and also themes aimed at better assessments.

On Saturday, the 23rd, we will have a special guest - Eline Kullock - an expert who will talk about the behavior of generations, with a special focus on Generation Y.

From there, and knowing that the school is a privileged space for generations to interact, let's think together about the new skills and competences that a teacher can develop to transform potential conflicts into real experiences of growth and meeting between people who are so different and so equal. .

As you can clearly see in the 1st and 2nd degree generational equations proposed as the theme of the event, transforming (gBb + gX) ÷ (gY + gZ) into gBb + gX + gY + gZ will be our great challenge. The winning group will receive the Gold Borboleguim award, from the Brazilian Academy of Butterflys, which will be presented during the Generations Ball! After two long years and repeated requests and pleas, the dancing butterflies are back! Bring a guest (on us), dress like the old days when you were the Y at the time, and have fun. It will be on Saturday night, the 23rd, in the gardens of the General Coordination. We think it's more convenient because the next day is Sunday and you're not going to work. You can wake up late, stay in bed, turn on your side, sleep again, drink plenty of water, massage your feet, rest, recharge your batteries, etc. etc. etc..

We are waiting for you!
