Inaugural class of the Academic League of Public Health of Bahia (LASP-BA)

It will take place on October 20, 2010, in the Auditorium I of the Cabula Academic Unit, the inaugural class of Academic League of Public Health of Bahia (LASP-BA), from 14 pm and the speaker will be the doctor Jairnilson Paim of the Institute of Collective Health at UFBA. The class will have as theme: "Brazilian Health Reform and SUS Care Models."

The event will be free and open to the public.

Who We Are
The Academic League of Public Health of Bahia (LASP-BA) is an autonomous entity formed by academics of health courses, with its own statute. It counts on the participation of collaborators and advisors who, as well as students, are committed to the development of multidisciplinary activities and the deepening of knowledge in Public Health/Collective Health.

LASP's mission is to develop educational and research activities in the area of ​​Public Health/Collective Health, providing assistance to the community, integrating teachers and students interested in scientific development related to the theme of Public Health/Collective Health.

The League arose from the will of some students from the Nursing course at Bahiana to deepen and disseminate knowledge in Public Health/Collective Health and everything that involves it. We believe that it is necessary to know Public Health/Collective Health in its complexity and levels of care in order to understand its broad structuring process.
