Scientific and Cultural Exhibition of Bahiana turns 10

Celebrated on September 27, this year's Responsible Teaching Day arrives earlier in the Bahiana which commemorates, on September 24th and 25th, at the Cabula Academic Unit, the 10 years of its Scientific and Cultural Exhibition, an event that involves all the School's courses and deals with both science and social responsibility. The opening, which takes place at 8 am on Friday, promises big surprises, starting with a special presentation by the students who are part of the hearts of Bahiana – Interdisciplinary Monitoring Program.

Composed of students from all courses at the Bahiana, the Program has been recognized for promoting health and citizenship actions that take place both in high schools and in social responsibility events, such as meetings and community fairs.

The opening will also feature a presentation of the high school students at the Governador Roberto Santos State School DS Cabula / Beirú who are part of the Junior Scientific Initiation Program, unprecedented action, promoted by Bahiana.

In addition to students from the Governador Roberto Santos State School, the Bahiana welcomes this year, as guests, children from Escola Municipal da Engomadeira, members of the group “Mulheres da PAZ” – Urban Social Center Narandiba, from the Santo Inácio project and seniors from Casa Monte Alvere.

Both the guests, students and employees of the Bahiana, can visit the 16 stands who will be participating in MCC10, providing informative, playful and health promotion initiatives. Social responsibility actions such as visiting the brushodrome, lectures on professional guidance, attention to women's health, food reuse, in addition to a first-aid workshop and a vegetable garden, also fill the two days of the Mostra.

As in previous editions, the scientific program includes the presentation of posters, mini-courses and workshops.
