The SIG has allowed a dialogue between researchers from different specialties in the field of psychiatry, with current themes, discussed in depth. THE Bahiana has participated in discussions with students of the psychiatry course, which has been very enriching for both the student body and the faculty.

As the title suggests, I will talk about the possibilities of pharmacological approaches to symptoms associated with autism, such as hyperactivity, aggression, insomnia, psychomotor agitation, and impulsivity. Yes, cases with associated aggressiveness.

The main therapy for autistic children is psychoeducation, drug therapy is supporting, helping the child to have better access to psychoeducation.
