I Conference on the dimensions of aging: health, safety and social participation

As a product of the “I meeting on the elderly and aging in the teaching, research and extension of Bahiana”, held on August 10, 2010, the research groups NUCIN and Memory and Diversity propose the realization of the "I Conference on the dimensions of aging: health, safety and social participation". Considering an emerging theme on the national scene, with the expectation of contributing to the implementation of the Statute for the Elderly and the National Policy for the Care of the Elderly, there was a need to expand the possibilities of deepening the study on the subject and giving visibility to society of the knowledge that is being produced in the Bahiana, enabling dialogue and future partnerships between it and the various social segments.

Objective
Share the state of the art of research related to the elderly and aging carried out in Bahiana and dialogue for possible partnerships with civil society.
