Students and employees of Bahiana make a donation to the institution Lar Irmã Benedita Camurugi

On July 16th, the students of the Biomedicine course, Anderson Fontes and Gleide de Oliveira, together with collaborators from Bahiana, Jozy Pereira da Silva and Edmilson Novaes dos Santos delivered 15,2 kg of whole milk to Lar Irmã Benedita Camurugi.

The social responsibility initiative, a common practice in Bahiana, involved students from the Extension Course Chemistry Review. Received by the coordinator of the social entity, Ms. Valdívia Caldas, the representatives of Bahiana they visited the facilities of the Home, an opportunity in which they were able to interact with the children cared for there. “With small gestures, we help to improve the day of those children”, says Jozy Pereira da Silva.
