CEDIMI will be highlighted at one of the largest international congresses on urinary dysfunction in childhood

The Childhood Voiding Disorders Center at Bahiana (CEDIMI) reached the milestone of 11 works approved at the Annual Congress of the International Child Continence Society (ICCS) which, this year, takes place at the Salvador Convention Center, from November 16th to 18th. The event is one of the most important academic conferences in the area of ​​childhood voiding disorders in the world.

The opening ceremony will be attended by the leader of CEDIMI, prof. Dr. Ubirajara Barroso, professor of the Master's and Doctorate Programs in Medicine and Human Health and Master's in Health Technologies. The event will bring together speakers, researchers, professors and students from different countries, including professors and students who are part of CEDIMI.

In addition to being configured as a research group, CEDIMI is an international reference in care, providing free services in the multidisciplinary unit of the Bahiana health, in Brotas. The center's team is multidisciplinary, made up of a pediatric urologist, physiotherapist, nurses, nutritionist and psychologist and has complete urodynamic equipment.
